The Beauton is a new construction three-story 29-unit residential building within Detroit’s historic North End neighborhood; Built upon 5 combined vacant parcels. Dokes Design Architecture served as the architect, and interior designer for CAD III Management’s current new property project.  The exterior façade has large windows, and a vibrant material palette which contributes to the neighborhoods character.  A new retail space at the back of the building on the ground floor offers services to the community fostering support for long-term vitality.  Dokes Design worked closely with the construction team to maintain the project budget through creative solutions to save cost.  The interior design of the Beauton brings an urban/industrial but warm aesthetic.  Along with the owner’s art curation, the revitalization of the city center and modern style became the principal design inspiration. Dokes Design also provided FF&E specification and vendor coordination throughout the building.
